Law of attraction. The Power of Affirmations
If so, its time you became aware of the power of affirmations.
You know that your thoughts and feelings create your life and that you should do affirmations and visualisations to create what you want but, with so much information available to us these days, it can be confusing as to how often you have to do them. And if your dream hasn’t manifested yet, then perhaps you feel you haven’t done enough.
Learning about the law of attraction and how to create what you want in life can be confusing. After all it’s a completely new concept that tells us we can create and direct our lives wherever we want to go, whereas we’ve been brought up to believe that life happens to us and we have to cope with it the best we can.
Now, suddenly, it seems as if the power to direct our lives, lies in our own hands. When we first find out about this, we are thrilled. It’s exciting and scary at the same time!
The life we’re living, day after day, is an exact reflection of our predominant thoughts and feelings. Thoughts are important as they create vibrations.
However our feelings are the creative power.
Let me put it another. Look at what’s coming to you in life and become aware of how you feel. Maybe you feel angry, hurt, anxious, or lonely. This means that you are sending out angry, hurt, anxious or lonely thoughts – even if you don’t know you’re doing so.
As every single thought sends out a creative vibration and the law of attraction responds. If you’re angry, hurt, anxious or lonely more than 55% of your awake time then the law of attraction is going to send you more experiences that will make you feel angry, hurt, anxious or lonely.
To bring your dream or goal into your life, you have to feel happy, successful, loved and have peace of mind more than 55% of the day, in order for the law of attraction to deliver your dream.
How do we do this? This is the trickiest part of it all. And this is where the power of affirmations comes into play.
Start out by becoming aware of how you feel – all the time! Every time a negative thought comes into your head, as soon as you realise you don’t like how you feel – Imagine putting your hand inside your mind and pulling out the thought, just as you would pull a weed from the garden. Then quickly fill the hole in your mind with light. Do this as often as you need to throughout the day.
Write and say your affirmations as frequently as possible – with positive feelings.
Repeating the words as if you were writing or reading Lines at school, is not positive! Your affirmation are to help you create powerful, positive thought patterns that will become your new mind-set and attitude to life.
As you’re writing and saying your affirmations, they should conjure up excited, happy, thoughts and feeling. This is one of the most powerful ways of raising your vibrations. Another important thing to remember – it’s not your thoughts or words that are creating your life, but how you feel!
As your inner world becomes calmer and happier, then the law of attraction responds and your life begins to reflect your calm and happy outlook on life. Now isn’t that worth effort?
It’s very difficult to keep hold of positive, happy thoughts when you’re aware of what is missing from your life. This is the time to enlist the power of affirmations to change how you’re feeling. Change doesn’t happen overnight. Making lasting changes takes dedication, disciple and practice.
