December Solstice

We seem to be heading, at neck-breaking speed, towards the final solstice of the final year in the Mayan Calendar.  It sounds so ‘final’ doesn’t it.  I’ve been told that some people are twitchy about it.  And there are strange things are happening in the skies as well.  We’ve had several planets going retrograde during the last part of the year, so it’s no wonder so many people feel that they are swimming upstream and wondering if life ever be good again.

And here we are – Christmas and the end of the year approaching fast.  Perhaps some of you are feeling relief that this year is nearly over. It’s been a hard year for many.  Others, like me, might think “where has this year gone?” and yet it also seems to have gone so slowly.  And we’re wondering ‘what will next year bring’?

From all my spiritual studies, I think it is going to be a brilliant year.  The awareness that we create our own reality is spreading.   I think the first flush of excitement about creating what you want in life with your thoughts and feelings has passed.  So many people found holes in what has been seen or taught as a ‘manifestation technique’ and have now moved on. But there are those who’ve felt, perhaps deep within their Being that somehow, something about it does ring true and bn wanted to find out more.

And the ‘more’ that they need to know?  In my opinion, it’s the first step in discovering your spirituality; it’s the first step in realising that if you want to create a consistently happy and successful life, you have to factor in You and your relationship with your Soul.  And that’s the bottom line.  Without working with your inner essence, your core Soul qualities, your creations will mostly be hit or miss.

In the late 1980s Mankind faced a choice: to choose the nightmare: a life of mediocrity or to choose the Dream.  We chose the Dream and the New World was born – it’s already here. (Lazaris) But it needs a foundation, a solid foundation so that it can grow steadily and surely.

If you’re reading this, you are one of the ones that are helping to build that foundation.  Millions of us are, brick by brick, building this with our understanding of spirituality and by choosing consciously and consistently to create happier lives.

2012 has been hard for a lot of people.  2013 can be better, so let’s create it so.
