Aloha Rose, This looks like a very good book! After reading the contents table I have a question: Was Dr. Bach a homeopath? I know he was a doctor, but I don’t know (or have forgotten) which kind. I have used Back remedies for about 40 years, but I want to do it consistently. I also wish to give up procrastination. Do you have any remedies for that?
As always, thank you for your help, Nalomeli

Hello Nalomeli. Thank you for your greetings of Hawaii. Thank you for looking at my book Simply Bach Flowers and your questions. No. Dr Bach was not a homoeopath. He was a medical doctor (with a practice in Harley Street, London) and a bacteriologist. Bach was determined to find the cause of disease, and he started to study the bacteria of our stomach and gut. He was offered the laboratries at the London Homoeopathic Hospital where he came under the influence of the philosophy of Samuel Hahnemann – the founder of homoeopahy. He particularlly liked the concept of “treat the patient and not the disease” and “little is more”. Both concepts are now part of Bach Flower philosophy.
Good to hear that you been using the Bach Remedies for 40 years. And I understand about you using them periodically. I think when you understand the philosophy at its foundation, and know/understand more of the remedies, you’ll begin to use the remedies more frequently.
Procrastination ? Try Hornbeam. Hornbeam is actually a ‘mental’ state. The essence of Hornbeam is that the THOUGHT of doing what needs to be done ‘exhausts’ you’. And you feel you don’t have the strength to do what you say you want to do.
I hope I’ve answered your questions well enough. If you have more questions, please get back to me and I’ll see what I can do, Take care, Rose
