Britain’s Favourite Topic

The North wind doth blow
And we shall have snow
And what will the robin do then,
Poor thing!

So goes the nursery rhythm.

Although naturally, I’m concerned about the robins, I’m also concerned about us and the weather – and again, naturally enough, I’ve come to a conclusion!

You all know the weather is the main topic of conversation with the British and everyone moans about it. No matter what it does, it seems to conjure up the wrath of some part of the population. And this is something I really don’t understand – the British seem to think that their small island which is practically in the Arctic Circle should have a Mediterranean climate, which of course it doesn’t!

But, let’s put that aside for a moment…

It is now Chinese New Year – another new beginning. New beginnings are always filled with hope and expectation – and yet the weather is practically blowing a gale.

You and I know about the Law of Attraction and positive thought. I can only, therefore conclude that all the negative thought that has been loaded on the poor weather system by the entire population of this island, is now delivering what we created!

So, please – not another word about the weather – let’s pretend we have a blue sky and the temperatures are warm. ‘Fake it until you make it’ is a common expression!

Only positive thoughts about the weather from now on please and let’s see if we can turn it around before the snow comes and the poor robins starve!
