Do you have the freedom and confidence to know you can accomplish anything and everything you want?
If you answer NO to any of these questions, then you’re in the right place because in this blog I give you three easy steps to help you change it.
I know you’ve heard it before in so many different ways, but that’s because it really is true. The life you want; the life I’ve described above is within your reach … so – what’s keeping you from it?
In simple terms (and you know I love simplicity) the main thing that’s keeping you from your dreams is Doubt. You doubt that it can happen and you doubt that you can do it. Doubt and uncertainty show their face as Fears and anxiety. And so in the face of uncertainty and fear, we seem to hit a brick wall and quickly fall back into our old way of believing the Voice in our head as it says …
• Who do you think you are?
• You can’t do that!
• Where do you think the money will come from?
• What happens if you fail?
And so, although we’d love to achieve our dreams, because we don’t know how to do what needs to be done or even if we can do it – so we put it off for another day. We procrastinate.
No one plans to procrastinate.
No one sits down on a Wednesday morning and says ‘I think this morning I’ll procrastinate about creating my dream’. That’s not how it is.
I know this because, for years, not only was procrastination my constant companion, but also I saw it in so many of my clients over many years. I’ve known talented and motivated people, who for one reason or another, have found it difficult to move forward.
So don’t be hard on yourself when you fall off your bike, or your plan gets derailed. I’m going to give you 3 tips on how to keep going, even when you’re in a less-than-ideal situation.
1. Focus and clarity
Define your dream and goal as clearly as possible. Shine a spotlight on your dream so that it feels very real to you. In the bright light your dream becomes alive.
Fill your visualisations with colour, music or sounds and smells to help bring them to life. See if you can touch and taste the feelings of freedom and joy you’re seeking. Be as clear as you can be. Every thought you think and every feeling you feel should all be taking you towards your dream.
2. Emotional awareness.
Being aware of how you feel is key to all successful manifestation.
How you feel is everything so be aware of how you’re feeling in every moment. It’s tricky to do, but as our emotions are our guidance system that tell us whether we’re on the right track or not, the quicker you can correct your course, the better it is.
If you like how you feel – carry on doing what you were doing. If you don’t like how you feel, then find something to focus on makes you feel better. Not easy I know. I speak about emotional awareness more in my 30 Day Diary programme
3. Take action.
No matter what’s happening to you always … Take action.
Always do what you can, right now, where you are, with what you’ve got.
And you’d be surprised at how much you can do, even when you think you’ve got nothing to work with!
This keeps you moving forward towards your goals and dream.
Constantly taking small steps: one step at a time builds momentum – and momentum creates manifestation.
