The 7 Day Challenge

Do you have the stamina to accept my 7 day challenge?
(No; it’s not climbing Mt. Snowdon – I’ve already met that challenge!  See photo.)

I’m throwing down the gauntlet.   If your life is not as you want it to be: I mean, if there is anything at all you want to change in your life, then this is for you!

Now, don’t yawn.  Stick with me.  In 3 short sentences I’m going to remind you about how you are creating your life, and therefore, what needs to be done to change it.

Life is an inside-out job.  Very simply put, what’s going on inside your head is showing up outside of you in your life.  You’ve heard me twitter on about this for ever.  This is how it is. There are no exceptions.  No small print.  No asterisks.  Your thoughts and feelings are creating your life.

This moment Now is the point of attraction.

Do you know, you can only think in this moment now?  Do you realise you can only feel in this moment now?  You can remember your hurts and angers from yesterday – but you’re thinking them again now.  You can worry about tomorrow – but you’re thinking in now.

The law of attraction can only respond Now – because now is all there is.

Affirmations are positive statements made in the Now-moment. They are statements about who you are and where you want to go.
Every affirmation is recreating your self-image, strengthening your self-worth, building positive attitudes and developing a more positive belief system.

Here’s what a recent coaching client says…
neeraj-3“I wanted to improve aspects of my personal and professional life. Rose explained the power of affirmations.
I’m now making good progress in my personal relationships. I’m healthier and fitter than ever before. And I’m also back on track with my academic studies and career too…”

Neeraj.  UK

Everything you say is affirming something about yourself and your life.  Every time you criticise and put yourself down, you’re giving your subconscious mind an instruction to produce experiences of lack of self-worth and lack of confidence.  I really don’t want to labour this point, but you get the idea.

The key is that small steps lead to big results.
Affirmations, with powerful feelings, said frequently, will bring big results.  Consistency is key and each time you say an affirmation, you’re taking a small step forward.

At the beginning, I threw down the gauntlet.  Will you pick it up?

Is your dream of a new life inspiring enough to make it a ‘must’ for you?  Is your desire to live this life, strong enough to carry you through this challenge?   Or is your dream just a Disneyland fantasy – something wonderful to muse about?

If the latter is the case, you probably haven’t read this far anyway.

The challenge is that for 7 days (that is only 1 week), you say at least 5 powerful affirmations at least 3 times a day.
Say them with intense positive feelings.  Write them down.  Speak them out loud (when appropriate).  Saturate your mind with your affirmations.

And notice the changes at come into your life.  Be aware of even subtle changes – they’re the beginning of something big.

If you’re committed to a bright future, you’ll pick up the challenge. If you do this, be honest with yourself (you’re the only one you’re fooling if you’re not) – do the affirmations – and notice your world begin to change.

As I’ve thrown down the gauntlet, and as I’m completely committed to helping you create a bright future, and I’m totally committed to my new life I too, must pick it up.  I’ll be doing it along with you.

Please check in with me next week – and I’ll let you know how I got on in next week’s blog.  Please let me know of your successes too.

      Hello Sally.
Thank you so much for your comment and sorry for my delay in replying.
Congratulations and well done. There are 5 of us doing it together! It does take commitment to do something repeatedly. I’m sure this is why most people don’t successfully create what they want in life.
I hope you keep it going. If you feel you’re slipping, drop me a line on [email protected] and I’ll help jolly you along.
      Warm wishes
      Rose
