No Room For The New In Your Life?

Have you noticed that we fill our lives (and our cupboards too) to bursting?  And even though there is no more room in the loft, the garage, cupboards and drawer, we keep on adding more and more things into our lives. Your dreams need space to be able to manifest,

No more room?

A long time ago a wise one said to me “before you can take on anything new, you have to decide what you’ll give up”.

Had it occurred to you that perhaps your mind is too full of what’s going on in your life at the moment, to be able to focus clearly on what you want in the future?  Perhaps your thoughts are constantly tripping over all the things you’ve kept that are way beyond their ‘sell-by’ date?

Why do we keep so much stuff that we don’t really want?

The real reason you cling to your stuff

I think there are two reasons why you’re keeping the hoards of stuff you no longer need or use.

  1. I believe it’s because you haven’t got the time to go through it all. And now, as we’re big on recycling, you can’t simply throw everything out because it goes into land-fill.  And you can’t do that to our poor earth!
So, throwing things away, now takes a lot of time and effort to sort for recycling.
  1. And the second reason, I believe, is because we have an emotional attachment to a lot of things we keep. We’re sentimental about something and so we keep it.

Now, be honest, how many things have you kept for sentimental reasons and you’ve not even looked at for years? Or maybe you’ve forgotten you even had them.

More than you’d care to admit?  That’s what I thought!  So really you don’t need to keep those sentimental things that you’ve put up in the loft, do you?
Keeping one or two special items that are precious to you is different – if you use them, or have them on display.

How to set a focused intention to
make room for what you want

I wonder if it’s too unkind of me to remind you that your outer world is only a reflection of your inner world?  Too cluttered?  Probably.  So, I won’t mention it!   But I will mention that the Law of Attraction responds to every single one of your thoughts and feelings so cluttered outside means only one thing!

Make the decision to let go of the unwanted things in your life.  Set the intention and a goal to clear out one part of your house by the end of the week or the end of the month.  Clear your cupboards, recycle the hoards of paper and plastic containers you’ve been keeping.  Do a little at a time.  Remember small steps bring huge results.

Visualise! You know you always start with the end in mind, paying attention to how you’ll feel when you’re there.  (Feelings are everything).
Visualise the space empty and clear.  Conjure up the feelings of satisfaction for having achieved the challenge.

Now you can generate feelings of excited anticipation for all the new things that will flow into your life now your dreams have the space to manifest.

There is nothing more satisfying than completing your challange and achieving your goal.  Making space for the new needs dedication and patience.  But you can do it – I know you can.  How do I know?  Beause you’ve done far more difficult things before.

Click here to find out how the Law of Attraction really works, and how you can work with it.  You can be happy, successful and live a fulfilling life when you understand how you and the universe works.
