Anxious about Exams?

Exam time is upon us once again. There is huge pressure for our teenagers to do really well in their exams.

Bach Flower Remedies are a natural and simple way to help with the anxiety of exams (and all anxieties and fears. They can allay anxiety and fears and boost confidence.
Clematis. Clematis Aug 16Clematis Aug 16ClematisClematis
If your child seems indifferent to the exams and would rather sleep than study, then Clematis will help. Clematis is indifferent and don’t want to be involved in life. They are day-dreamers. Clematis will ground them and help them to remember what they’ve learnt.

Elm feels the heaviness of the responsibility of getting good results – which can lead to depression. It’s not so much about the lack of confidence, but the huge responsibility of doing well. The weight of the responsibility will erode any confidence your child had.  Elm with give them the confidence they need to get good results.

Larch.  is a wonderful remedy and I feel we should all take it every day, because we’re dealing with stress every day. Larch is the confidence flower. It works subtly (as they all do) so your child wont really notice being more confident.  But in 3 days, you will !

White Chestnut. Another wonderful remedy. This one is for the merry-go-round of unresolved thoughts that openwhite_chestnutwhite_chestnut stop sleep. You can’t stop these thoughts going around and around, and there’s no way out. White Chestnut brings clarity and therefor a solution.

Rock Rose. If your child is feeling panicked: or beginning to feel panicky, then add Rock Rose to their mix. This remedy is in Rescue Remedy, so if they’ve been taking that and its been helpful, then add it to the mix with the other remedies.
Treatment_Bottle-2How to take the remedies.
The most effective way to take the remedies is to make up a Treatment Bottle. This is a small, brown 30ml bottle with a dropper. If you don’t have one, you can get one from a health shop or sometimes from a well-known High Street chemist.

Treatment Bottle
To make up a Treatment Bottle, fill the bottle to the shoulder with either mineral, filtered or cooled boiled water.
Then add 2 drops of each of the chosen Remedies (add 4 drops of Rescue) – up to a maximum of 6. (When you use Rescue in a Treatment Bottle, Rescue counts as 1 remedy).
Then take 4 drops from the Treatment Bottle at least 4 times a day.
Or you can use your child’s water bottle as a treatment bottle. Put into their bottle, 2 drops of each remedy for ½ ltr of water and ask them to sip it frequently.

Or the remedy can be dropped straight onto the tongue (but don’t let the dropper touch the tongue) or you can put 4 drops into a glass of water and sip it frequently, every 10 to 15 minutes or so.

The frequency of the dose is more important that the quantity.

    dear ROSE

how long should we continue to see the results?thx

    • Rose Todd says:

Hello Funda. Thank you for writing. Continue to take the remedies for as long as you feel anxious and stressed. I always work on the principle – take them until you forget. (Because when you forget, you’re no longer focusing on your anxieties.
However, if you’re feeling stressed continuously because you’re stressed every day, it means that the remedies are bring about a healing. So you would need to adjust the remedies.
I hope this is helpful, if not, please write to me again.
      Thank you.
      Rose

Hello Funda. So sorry. I’ve only just seen your reply.
The remedies work at once. However, if the intensity of anxiety it will take some time to feel better.
I always say, take the remedies until you forget – because then you’re no longer focusing on the problem – so the remedies have done their work.
Once again, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
      Hope the exams went well.
      Rose

Thank you. I find it very very challenging to say yes to changes. My son followed my behaviour. I get cold feet at thought of a new task told to me. Become blank with apprehension. I got it from my mom behaviour. Blood is thicker than we think. 3 generations same psyche. Fear anxiety lacking self confidence. My mom even used to manifest fever which would force my dad to succumb to her demands to avoid stressful situations. After my dad surrendered to her wishes, her fever would just vanish soon. It is like exam of life.

Why patterns are repeated even in generations is a mystery here. Gratitude.
