Regain your natural motivation and passion for life

Motivation. Or rather – are you suffering from the lack of motivation?
Do you start off a new project highly motivated then drop to having zero motivation?  Even if your motivation seeps away slowly or drops you like a brick falling from the sky – I know you’ve been there!

How to boost motivation.

NO MOTIVATION MAKES LIFE BORING

You may not realise what you’re feeling is lack of motivation, but you do know that you have no enthusiasm for life – especially about the project you were so crazy about something yesterday or last week.  If doing the mundane thing in life has become so tedious: if you’ve become resigned to how your life is – then you’re suffering from lack of motivation.

I’m sorry to be so blunt, but if you’re bored and apathetic about life, can’t summon up any enthusiasm or energy and just accept what fate throws at you without a murmur – then you’re right in the middle of no motivation and unless you do something fast, you’ll stay there for a long time.

But how can you do something about the lack of motivation is you’re resigned to being where you are?

Where does our motivation come from?

Motivation gives your life meaning and purpose

DISCOURAGEMENT PUTS MOTIVATION ASLEEP

How does losing your motivation come about? I always find things easier to deal with when I know the ‘whys’

We all have within us a special inner will that drives us to improve our life.  It’s essential to every one of us as it keeps drawing us forward to a better, happier and more successful life.

When you’ve tried, and tried so hard, for so long to achieve something and you don’t seem to be getting anywhere (I’m sure you know what I mean) you seem to have nothing left in you to give to continue to strive to achieve.  That’s when motivation set in.

Your inner will has gone to sleep – a bit like Sleeping Beauty.  Several princes tried to hack their way through the briar hedge (which was a thick growth of Wild [Briar] Rose} until at last, there was one who did hack his way through and made it to the top of the tower to bestow the kiss of life.
When we’re lacking motivation we need the support of others to get us through our days.

When I saw the title of today’s blog, I thought ‘she’s done it again, worked out what I need before I even realised I needed it’. This blog and the Wild Rose remedy is exactly what I need right now, thank you.

    • Rose Todd says:

Hello Gillian. Thank you – both for writing and for your kind words. (I thought you knew I had a crystal ball?)
Some of our feelings are insidious, coming on us so slowly that we don’t really notice ourselves changing. The Wild Rose state is one of those slow, creeping feelings.

However, the Wild Rose state comes from being so disappointed that you ‘give up’! So there is a definite cause for the Wild Rose state. However, this cause could have been in very early children and you don’t remember.
I hope the ‘sharp prick’ of the Dog Thorn (rather than the Princes kiss) and the remedy is working wonders – as they always do.
      Take care
      Rose

I so agree – presented what is completely right before I even knew it was needed! Wild rose is so perfect and fills the hedgerows too in June and is so very beautiful and soft. Love your wisdoms Rose and thank you for them all.

        • Rose Todd says:

Hello Harriet. Thank you for leaving a comment. And thank you too for your enthusiasm.
Apathy, along with loneliness, is one of our most devasting emortions. Wild Rose is a brilliant remedy, and yes, as this time it is filling the hedgerows.
Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it. Love Rose
